When she was out of the house!!! She is amazing jealous about her "stable".
Here are some of my wife's watches.
All started with the Longines Lindbergh that she had a love on the first sign (later I learned that the movement was the last true in house movement from Longines). Done.
My wife loves the dial and hands because it gives to the watch a Jules Verne look ("Vingt Mille Lieues sous les mers"/"Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea"). She calls this watch her "Captain Nemo" watch!
I'm lucky that she never saw a Patek Nautilus!!!
Later, she got hooked on my ex C shaped Connie. "Very nice oldie. Too small for you". Done.
After a visit to the IWC boutique here, I was looking other watches and she admire the Portofino. Done.
One week after I got to her the white version.
Then she started looking the IWC catalog. It was her birthday ... Done with the Portuguese Chronograph (that I was looking for me!!!).
