Hi everyone, thank you for participating in another great wristscan weekend
For judges, I asked two "new" Purists to help with the selections this week.
Fab5119R, Fabrizio, graciously volunteered his time to pick the "static photo of the week". Here is his verdict:
I just looked at the static shots of the latest WristScan. Lots were indeedvery nice. I would rank as #1 the picture by Amanico
('Rolex 1675 Chocolate'). A close second would be Alkiro's second photo on (Lange 1 blue dial).
Hope this helps!
Congrats to both!
For the Wristshot of the week, I asked asonstuf, Joseph, to choose his favorites. Here is his verdict:
Thank you again for allowing me to participate as a guest judge. Here are my choices:
3rd place: Crown comfort GPS Richeville. I came back to this photo many
times and actively searched out information on the watch. The photo
captures details (and colors such as the blued screws on the dial) that I
did not know existed. The photo which prompted
me to post my own photos.
Second Place: HS111 MIH watch. I have a real soft spot for this watch
and almost fell out of my chair when I saw this photo. You managed to
bring a level of warmth to an otherwise austere design and the whole
photo just pops.
Winner: MTF Chopard Chronograph. I'll admit I originally looked over
this photo quite quickly and moved on. On a second passing I realized
how brilliant it was and the watch reflection in the beer was just icing
on the cake. The black is pure and the case and
glass are flawless with no smudges, marks or reflections. Bravo, molto
bravo!
Congrats to MTF and all the other mentioned PuristS.
It was hard to get a fellow moderator to choose the Watch of the Week...So I will pick my favorite
The runner up was BMR's Breguet a la Tradition
The winner this week, very apropos for St. Patrick's day and a seldom seen watch, was 21 EP's Ladoire!
Congrats!
Thanks again everyone for participating. Hope the work weeks goes smoothly!
Best, Mike
