A. Lange & Söhne: I am not sure about the 1815 split seconds

Both pc or non-pc versions. the wire spring is frankly rather unsightly

Omega: Its there in the

1815 perpetual calendar Rattrapante and the 1815 Rattrapante It’s not hidden - the wheel rotates - so it’s just by coincidence it’s hidden

IWC: I have always preferred

Chronos with the registers at 12 and 6, instead of the tradition 9 and 3.. but unfortunately this wears to big for me becoz of the very thin bezel

Officine Panerai: Sorry that this happened to your rad

Looking at your pics, I think I know what happened. The wire lugs have a little notch to secure it in place when you screw in those tiny screws.. from your pics, it seems they were installed in the opposite direction and so the screws weren’t catching the notch eg even the wire lugs look rather chew

Patek Philippe: Congratulations

On acquiring these two legendary 5970s. Thanks for sharing the pics No watch is perfect but the 5970 comes really close. I haven’t worn my G for a while, here is an old pic

A. Lange & Söhne: Errr.. I think the spring is still there

It’s just hidden under the price when the center wheel is rotating Below is pic of the honey gold 1815 rattrapant movement from monochrome - still there This is a substandard way to make a rattrapante and also quite cheap looking
