I consider the Oris to be very discrete. It looks colorful because I took a picture this morning with our implacable summer Sun hitting it directly. Cheers, Nilo

My wife asked me why I would ever spend more money to fix one of my "budget" watches than it cost in the first place...especially one that was easily replaceable. I replied "memories" . Some of us remember events with photos I suspect most of us remember ... 

First, I always deduct the maintenance cost for a full maintenance. Second, since I'm lucky to have a great watchmaker I try to keep him busy and I pay a little less than the average customer. Cheers Nilo

under normal circumstances I doubt if it will develop like this The watch was worn for three months in the Death Sea area, but never in the sea. The problem is that the bezel does not move anymore now. GEO

if the watch was worn more "in land". It makes sense that it was worn near the coast. Sorry to hear about the bezel though, hopefully an easy fix. Best, Mike

I'm assuming it is patterned after the old rotary phone. Is that patina from age? or was it sold in that way with a distressed finish? Best, Mike

or half case style pocket watches with these type of cut outs. (Protect the crystal but keep it visible). Knowing Michael Graves' work, the rotary phone reference is certainly there too. The metal is unfortunately, a very cheap base metal that has patinat...
