the design is intended to resemble the Solar system. Much more intersting is the fact that the thick while dots are indeed movement pillars while the red dots are the backsides of rubies. They just left away the dial as a separate part and painted the dia...

I have a spreadsheet that tracks every move. I concentrated on three brands and that is it: IWC, Omega and JLC. Just one "rusty" that is a combination of IWC and JLC. My Mark XII. I need to grab it from the dungeon and take pictures. Cheers, Nilo

...37mm or 42mm, but 42mm seemed a little too large for such a classic watch and 37mm would have meant compromising on the size of the balance wheel, so Chris very nobly agreed to re-work the architecture to fit a 40mm case - see this post: Cheers, pplat...

Giving up the last pix, KV, Gronefeld, Journe. For me the problem with the Journe was the silver tarnish, but I loved the look when I held it new. You ordered the Gronefeld exactly as I wanted to. For me, I just could never part with my KV. Your adds are ...
