Black and white. I love the contrast. And it shows how superbly legible black hands on white dial or white hands on black can be. Watches for different moods. Love the shot. Andrew

first you think it's an albino, then you realize it's a freak ;-) Or maybe the guys from the Peruvian Airforces just liked that later model bezel on their pre-Daytona ;-) This message has been edited by DrStrong on 2012-05-24 12:56:18...

Great 6238.

 By: TdotBean : May 24th, 2012-18:27
I have seen a few pre Daytona mismatch configuratio. Most claim it from FAP. Is that a real story second this? Coming back to the watch. This pre Daytona has a lot of charm Regard Tyler

Thanks Tyler. In fact...

 By: DrStrong : May 24th, 2012-22:28
this watch came from the military source with this "uncorrect" 6239 bezel, like a couple of other 6238's. So I guess these bezels were retrofitted on the watches in the late 1960's because they were easier to read than the inner bezel printed on the dial....

thats a beauty Jeff

Hmmmm, not so sure, Amanico...

Unless perhaps they come out with the ROO "Perfectly-Plain-and-Available-in-Vast-Numbers-from-Boutiques-Everywhere-at-a-Really-Neat-Price" Limited Edition.... Cheers, pplater.

Don't think of them as limited editions ...

 By: AndrewD : May 25th, 2012-23:47
... just think of them as the number of pieces the marketing department thinks they should be able to sell. ;-) Cynically yours. A Ps. Can Moderators make jokes like that?

Only you will regard a sonnerie as just any watch.
