Toast and OJ for me
May 24, 2013,07:26 AM
This is a typical homemade morning for us (except for the camera work).
- bread I've baked (this loaf has King Arthur bread flour, Bachelder oak smoked stoneground flour, yeast, water, sea salt, and olive oil from Valle de Guadalupe / Ensenada, Mexico)
- Grand Seiko Automatic in white titanium on IWC strap
Oranges picked last weekend from Pappa Hughes' tree in Palos Verdes (Mrs C's daddy-o)
Converted through high-technology juicer equipment into liquid sunshine
Toast charring added by myself with the aid of a Dualit 4-slice toaster (John Lewis, High Wycombe, 1991)
Tea is Giddapahar China Delight, straight from Darjeeling, served up in a Randy Owens F1 Mug (used when a race is on)
News courtesy of my local rag plus the FT, with adverts read only when necessary
Ill-mannered cat is indeed allowed on the breakfast table once Mrs. C has gone to work
Cheers!
