I was very torn, and liked Noodia's Heuer wrist shot too!

Nov 03, 2013,10:43 AM

Noodia had the benefit of all those colors -- the unusual and charming Heuer, the orchids, the composition was all very nice.  There were several other participants that I also felt were noteworthy, but I self-limited my choices to three -- otherwise I would've had a dozen "favorite" wrist shots this week!  LOL!

So many wonderful watches.  Many people seem to enjoy quite dressy watches on the weekend!

Cheers,
Daos

Quote Hi Nilo, Here are my choices: For "wrist shot" of the week, my choice is Phuongpham39's Seiko. This is the type of watch that I love for weekend or "off-time" wear -- it's rugged, and ready for anything. I like this Seiko's design cues (this model i...

Watch of the Week goes to . . .

 By: Dr No : November 3rd, 2013-14:01
. . . Seth! There were many watches that exhibited the values I would want in a 'weekend warrior', notably Abel's red Reverso . . . . . . and hs111's vintage Omega Seamaster . . . . . . but Seth's Habring 2 embodied all of them, and added the virtue of...

Seth's watch is a true Purists watch. Thank you Art. Nilo

Wow. Very pleasantly surprised.

The watch does meet an off-time / weekend criteria -- heck, without even thinking, I wore it today to a rowing (crew) regatta. I'm decidedly honored to have it be chosen with so very many superlative watches being put forward that I thought the Habring2 m...

I understand the differences in the categories, but I do think that my photo still doesn't do it full justice and, besides, this will give me something to work on.

Now I finally can go to sleep :)

Off time Wristscan session

 By: Noodia : November 3rd, 2013-23:56
The wrist shot has been made last Friday, the last day of my sunny (and also rainy...) vacations in Far East. Being off time, it allowed me to focus on details I wanted to emphasis : the orchids for the Asian detail, the polished bezel for the watch itsel...
