"Your Most Valuable Watch" in your collection!

No, not that....

Yes, that's what I mean.

BUT "Most Valuable" doesn't mean "most expensive".  Sentimental value, it is - the one you would never, ever trade even with your life, the one you have special memory, the one you always remember something by, the recent purchase with extreme impulse, etc......  It CAN be also historical value, too.  Yes, horological historical value, in your dictionary.

Inside....

This is one of my most valuable watches - what I place "value" on is its movement.  This VZSS movement of AP is historically very important.  Take away the gear and such for this second hand version and imagine simpler small second version - wouldn't it look like the one you are fairly familiar with? smile  The shape of the smallish bridge beside the balance wheel, just a little bit showing barrel gear, etc....  You can get this with a few thousand dollars, if you find one, but this is, to me, historically very important, one of the most valuable.  At the next servicing, I would like AP to do something for the case..... smile

Just an example and you don't need to show the movement smile

The thread will start, as usual, 0:00 Friday, October 24th, Singapore time!  Be prepared!
