emotionally speaking, Damian: Dad and mom gave it to me as a 7 or 8 YO birthday. I rediscovered it when my wife got pregnant, 5 years ago. What a great surprise when I "knew" it was mechanical, hand wound! I have worn it during all my boy's birthday party...

But the VC Perpetual Chrono Malte ES! This one, my friend, this one is at least equal to the Patek! Sublime dial. Sublime case. Much more appealing and " charmful " than the Patrimony equivalent. When I think that I missed one... It was not the right time...

Its very difficult to choose the most valuable,that's why I like my versatile collection,they are all equally relevant and important to me.... This db 28 is the latest though.....hence my slight preference.... Still a virgin year for you? For me yes.........

... first 5513 of 1966 lost in an armed robbery I suffered in February 1977, as that was a present of my parents for my 18th birthday. But this 1680 has been a good replacement and has faithfully been with me for more than 37 years now. Have a great week ...

. . . to me, Nicolas - the ref 6512. Damnedest thing: I found one locally last year, and even told Bill and Baron about it. [image from Craigslist posting] Didn't have the necessary funds at the time, and the listing disappeared shortly afterwards. Still ...

All the AGS Kinetic Landmasters and Flightmasters for me are very important Seikos and very hard to find. S

The watch was developed for a Japanese mountaineer by the name of Ken Noguchi who by the age of 25 had climbed the highest peaks on all 7 continents, he wore an earlier Landmaster with an Altimeter when he climbed Mount Everest from the Chinese side in 19...

Hi Ken, your opening post gives an ample range of possible replies concerning the monetary, personal or horological value of our watches. Interestingly enough, hardly anyone here answered your challenge in terms of RSP, reflecting the fact that most of us...  

... those valued watches are most beautiful and worth owning - IMVHO. Expensive watches? Anyone, ANYONE, who happens to have money can buy those. But sentimental and/ or horological value watch CANNOT be bought with money. You are right, boss. Ken
