neither very difficult to find nor very expensive...various options as well...but really nice and clean ones are more scarce. This one was on my side list for a while until I was lucky to find this one, enamel dial, nice condition, great patina original h...

not perfect, it's for a cleaning with my watchmaker now. The case back has a few issues, but not visible on the wrist and the crown is not original. But I already organised an original crown and my watchmaker will put that on. I should have it back before...

Ref 9628 was introduced in the early 70ties, but was building on earlier ellipse GPs. I have another ellipse, quite a bit smaller, which should belong to the late 50ties. CC ...

Hi Thanks for the reminder. I think one of the reasons that when it gets wrist time then its worn a lot as the setting feels a bit involved. I know its not that involved, but its not just strap it and change the dates. I agree - full calendar is great and...
