For the Wrist Shot of the week, our guest judge was TickTalk. Here is is verdict
There were many nice photos for the first WristScan of 2015. Being a traditionalist, I focused on watch-on-wrist photos taken on or after January 1st, which still left several choice images. After narrowing down to four finalists, I was able to decide on the runners-up, so congratulations to andrewluff, fernando, and Seeks for your very appealing shots.
One watch, however, stood out as the best expression of a New Year’s theme. Topcat30093 and his Glashutte Original Perpetual Calendar achieved that goal and more, with his black & white presentation adding a melancholy feeling for “auld lang syne”. Many thanks to all who participated; it was great fun.
Congrats Topcat!
For the Static Photo of the week, our guest judge was Watercolors. Here is his selection
It was fun and pleasurable experience but not without difficulty due to so many wonderful entries.
The winners are as follow:
No 3 Anaesdoc
This fine specimen of a Connie entering into 2015 in a beautiful gold on gold setting looks emazing.
congratulations
No2 Amanico
The coffee and Rolex combo. Would you not want to wake up to a cappuccino in Paris on New Year's Day?
congratulations
No1 Halkcb
....beautiful photo of a Blancpain watch on a frosty champagne bottle . This would be the best PuristS' way of a begining of the New Year. Best static photo this week congratulations.
The judgement for Watch of the Week is still outstanding. I will update the thread as soon as a winner is selected.
Thanks to everyone for their participation. Thank you judges.
Happy 2015 everyone,
Mike
