I’m not sure which industry you’re in, but I haven’t been accustomed to hearing of Mexico as base for factory operations, except for a Mexican company of course. But it makes sense.

Certainly Mexico has a major manufacturing relationship with the US

The Maquiladora program alone is vast. Not sure how it works with Canada, but perhaps it does via NAFTA. Mexico has got to be the lowest cost producer in North America.

I own an American co but I’m Canadian

And yeah, basically if a process involves low levels of automation, Mexico makes a lot of sense. I am shocked by how high quality the talent here in Monterrey is. Much better around stuff like lean manufacturing!

That’s very informative, thanks for highlighting this program.

I thought that cheaper labor force always meant overseas, but this is great, and again it makes a lot of sense.

Good luck my friend!!
