This week’s Wristscan is about “stealth”. Nilo tells me that in certain parts of the world, if you walk around with a Rolex on your wrist, you are inviting trouble. Similarly, I know of one guy who wears a Patek because in his workplace, a Patek just isn't recognised whereas a Rolex stands out as an expensive watch…. and he doesn't want to stand out as having an expensive watch. Similarly, there are just times when you want a watch on your wrist that slips silently under the radar…no fuss…no show….just stealth. Well, Nilo, I can unveil a new watch under development by Rolex that is the ultimate stealth watch. Rolex have allowed me to borrow it for some testing and I can reveal it here for the very first time….through use of unusual angles it is able to reflect the light to the eye in such a way that it becomes totally invisible. I tell you, Rolex are just so incredible.
Unfortunately, I cannot keep this prototype and instead have to rely on my own stealth watch. For me, I am going for my 1019 Milgauss….. in my book, its a stealth watch. What is your stealth watch? Thanks to Carl for suggesting this theme…..
