Allow me to Meatloaf this and say 2 outta 3 ain't bad

Apr 22, 2024,14:52 PM

Parmigiani and kettlebells, big fan.  And I like me some Warren Zevon.  My uncle Pat, whom owns the mint '68 E-Type I have posted, turned me on to Zevon, Steely Dan, Meatloaf, and others some 40 years ago.  All good stuff.

But when I am working out, it is only Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, Dream Theater, Metallica, Megadeth, and a few others.  I don't care how tired I am at the end of a set or workout, if The Sentinel starts playing, I can set a new PR.  Honestly I have to be mindful of it, because I get so crazy I can easily hurt myself.  I really am maturing now at age 50, so maybe I can learn to dial down a bit... but I am not there yet.

Parmigiani Kettlebells Warren Zevon rocking in the background I’m 68 and coming off of double shoulder joint replacement surgeries in the past 8 months. I’m thrilled beyond words with the way my body is responding. Enjoy the day amigos. M4 ...

PT, stem cells and PRP injections and I’m back in the game. So I hear you. It’s a tough road. Glad you’re better! Need your playlist for this to be complete though 🤘🤘🤘.

I understand rotator cuff surgery is more painful than full joint replacement???

 By: M4 : April 21st, 2024-17:19
I couldn't tell you. My rotator cuffs on both sides were completely shot.

I was at the Rainbow last night . . .

 By: Dr No : April 22nd, 2024-19:04
. . . and amazed a 20-something girl played a Beatles tune on the jukebox, singing along to the chorus no less. Next time, I'll play Sentinel right after.

I need to come see you one day so we can complete our visit to the Rainbow together. Which song did the girl play from The Beatles?

. . . which was a surprise because people her age usually play current (and unlistenable) stuff. (I refuse to call it music.) ;-)
