Amongst the most precious . . .

. . . aspects of life are the relationships we nurture with our friends. There are times we're reminded of how much we value them by their unexpected absence.
Recently, many of you have probably noticed the absence of two of my colleagues, Marcus and Andrew D. Both are temporarily sidelined by pressing matters close to home; here's hoping they both soon return.
In their honor, let's share those watches that have a bearing on friendship, and the tales behind them. Here's an image of a Fortis . . .
. . . and a Grand Seiko. The Fortis belongs to an old friend, and was a gift from myself, prompted by the assistance he freely gave with several computer hardware and software issues over the years. The Grand Seiko is mine thanks to the generosity of Ken, who went to considerable lengths in helping me acquire it.
Looking forward to seeing those watches that involve friendship in some way or another. And if you have stories to tell about Marcus or Andrew, let's hear those, too.
