Team,

Our honorable Subexplorer vote for wrist shot is:

"

This has been a most charming W/S filled with the charm of the so near Christmas and End of Year Festivities.

As usual, it is rather difficult to chose a winner among so many awesome shots and no less awesome timepieces.

I have the honor of judging the wrist scan this week, and it was difficult to resist the tender charm of the two bears wearing great watches shown by our friends Blomman and Stromer. Also difficult to resist my bias towards chocolate, chocolate dials and Panerais altogether in a single picture by Joe.

But I had to chose one I and I selected as the winner a picture that not only shows a little seen watch with a one of a kind feature of a linear row of subdials (I guess Eberhard is the only one to offer something like this) but it has such an special mood which makes me sense the warm feeling of a cozy Christmas night near a Christmas tree and a glowing fireplace (something that regrettably you and me can not enjoy in our respective Countries!).

I love this second picture by Nilo (which you say it is not your own wrist (*) ) which reflects the warm golden glow of the Xmas tree lights which serve as background in a marvelous way which transmits the peaceful mood of Christmas.

Abel.

(*) - It's my own wrist. What I was trying to say is that I don't do golden watches.

Mark in Paris votes for the static pictures are:

It was a great pleasure judging this week-end’s static scan session!

A lot of nice pictures with Christmas flavor.

I selected 3 shots which sound like December holidays. Very difficult to share but we always have to make a choice.

N°3, Fernando’s very nice setup with its beautiful 15202. It smells Christmas time indeed.

N°2, P@trice’s great tribute to Geophysics picture, upon a winter expedition hat. All a theme.

And finally N°1, Alain2701’s beautiful vintage Minerva Chrono, the colors smell nice and cold December weather.
And I liked the strap, hands and manoir’s wall warm color coherence.

Have a nice week.

"

Finally we have the Watch of the Week by our dear Blomman:

"
Here is my verdict for Watch of the week:

Runner up, Cazalea and his GP Traveller ww.tc. A stunning watch and very useful complication.

Almost on top, Patrice and his foursome of Geophysics’.

Could very well have been the winner of this week, but I feel we already have had the Geophysic as WoTW several times…

Winner, Sam and his GP S.F. Foudroyante!

YouTube embedded code for video (showing the Foudroyante in action).

"

A wonderful week to all,

Nilo
