Firstly, apologies to the community for being absent...and Watch of the Week result
With that out of the way, this week Watch of the Week results.....Note the plural...
To me Watch of the Week needs a story, not pure photography skills, nor need it be a rare complication or expensive example....it needs a story, that ties in with the theme of the week....that is my biggest criteria in concluding a winner.
1) Flamenco's panerai is a watch that Inlike a lot, but that shirt is too flashy for me

2) Robin's MB&F LM101 would be usually my choice, and those who know me knows that I have a soft spot for MB&F....but I know the story behind the purchase....and it is cold and calculated, not unexpected as in today theme-
3) Matts picture is actually my favorite, BUT I am tasked to judge WATCH of the week....not WATCHES!!!!
4) Subexplorer early Daytona 6239 is certainly beautiful, but the story behind it is not well elaborated.....something I look for in this contest. But this picture and watch deserves a very special mention.
Which leads us to this week's Watch of the Week......this beautiful Breguet Chronograph by HS111. I love the story behind it, it's setting....the City where I spent many moons of my life and am still a regular visitor to. The rekindling of a freindship and the fortuitous turn into a dealer shop......in keeping with this week's theme. Congrats HS111

. . . with a Sixties as the subject, Robin. It's very photogenic; images come naturally, more so than with any other watch in my collection other than the white dial Constellation.
