The PM system is not working well...i have PM's some potential judges but there is no notification of PMs so the proposed judges have not picked up their PMs...so....
PuristS are everywhere.....in each corner of the world. For some, it will be winter. Spring or autumn elsewhere. And for some it is summer. With each of these seasons comes different colours in nature.....and i am guessing that each watch collector tends ...
An early kick-off, so may as well start. Great theme, so what colours would go with summer...? Maybe a blue dial with some red combined with a tan brown strap with white stitching? Or maybe pink gold with an off-white dial, blued hand and brown strap, spa...
. . . 'perfect pitch'. Dr No's Special Award for Staying on Theme . . . . . . has been duly awarded. Nice shot, Geo. And a bullseye for being on theme. Art ...
Just figured, looking for pictures to post here. Most of my watches are single colored dialed! Here is my attempt (Winter colors - Our "winter" is in full thrust) 1) My latest one. 2) My Speedmaster SIA (orange tones) 3) An old picture, love the darkness ...
Which means the white beast comes out... But the last few weeks of summer has given plenty of opportunities of al fresco drinks with friends and different watches... Cheers!!! Andrew ...
Thank you for featuring one of my favorite JLCs in such a evocative composition! That made my evening after a day of work and evening biking. Best, Tim
.. Remains your Reverso Duo(?) / blue ! That's maybe one to get on the shortlist , if - and only if - I were to expand on the Reverso terroir, - with the exception of a nice Vintage/ with central sec ( which I am still waiting to pop up ( in very good con...

...I am very happy for the association, indeed. It is the ONE that started it all for me. Interestingly, I have no regrets about any others but the EWC. Thanks for the kind thought, my friend. respo
I am delighted. But MOST delighted to share our friendship! respo PS -- I am days away from my five-year anniversary with the TTP65. Seems like just yesterday we got this from the Paris Boutique. :-)
- Times change, and we, we change with them.. (Ref: initial Hexameter in Latin by Ovid, adapted in 16th century..) How true, isn't it ?? Have a very good summerly weekend, and Best, my friend ! hs PS: PS: BTW, indeed a very nice WS-topic this WE !! :) :)
I take that as a very nice compliment. I miss the EWC, but it forged the path for other watches, helped me to learn a lot, and by letting it go, I made way for at least one other great watch that remains with me today. Best, respo
Wow, the yellow strap from the Rossi really pops on the EWC. I've often thought of acquiring the full suite of candy-colored MCE accessory straps for my EWA. I have the blue rubber that came with the Tides of Time edition, so I'd have to target this yello...
We\'ve been on a boat for the last ten days. I\'ve got a limited selection of watches with me, but this one works for today\'s theme. Cheers, Cazalea ...

Hi Baron, although a classic watch style is my preference, I nonetheless value a little bit of colour from time to time as an eye-catcher. It is like the salt in the the soup: a little bit is o.k., too much spoils the whole. My three tool watches all cont...
What about adding the Queen of them, the Patek? Aren't these travel watches exciting? Building a collection around this theme would be very interesting, don't you think? Best, Nicolas
I know you prefer the white metal but I am a fan of the rose or yellow or red metals :-) The 5131 would be a stretchhhhhhhhhhhhhh :-) Love all the great pictures Stewart
I have been debating over the two for sooo long, you solved the problem, just get them both!! Is there a you are here arrow on the galactic map, it would help ;0)… Happy trails, Tim
the map is from 40,000 years in the future, so I have to wait a little while before it will be useful :-) On a practical note, the VC and Breguet are both nice, but the VC is a bit temperamental. I had to send it back to the shop 3 months after I bought i...
Hi They might have just hosted the Grande Depart of the tour - but there's still no coral off the Yorkshire coast. Barnacles are definitely more Yorkshire! It was Filey brigg - a long stone outcrop into the North Sea, you walk along it & then have fis...
Thank you on so many levels. Your posts on watchprosite started my journey towards this dream- I saw this model first thanks to your images, and the dream sustained itself through the years with aid from your insights and periodic showcases right here on ...
IF I go for the Chrono, it will certainly be the white gold. But I have two strong competitors, in the Duometre line, with the UTT and the QL Enamel. Décisions, décisions... Best, Tim. Nicolas
