Hi Thanks. Think you're right - makes you feel more connected with a watch if you wear it for longer. Def enjoy wearing my Master Moon for extended periods. The only downside is that sometimes the down time between wearing can be rather extended. Think it... 

i consider myself to be very very lucky as this is the mintiest 50 year old watch i've ever seen. i mean, totally spotless, but original. one member of the seiko group on facebook said that it appears to be one of the first of that model due to the'star' ...

thanks Juan. i've owned Seiko's for years. in UK pretty much everyone started off with a seiko, but only discovered GS about 6 yrs ago. very pleased to have what is apparently one of the first of this model GS from Jan 1964. best G

.. yes, this is the "special" version with 2 additional stones.... But the accuracy did not come back to the good old day standard (while GS can be re-adjusted to super high accuracy...). But, fully restored by Citizen, it looks cool, eh? Ken

Known as the 8828ti Klassic, this Sinn is 40mm, which was big for the time (90's) and has a nice display back. Generally I agree with you on date windows, but this one is so unobtrusive and so well-matched to the dial, I think I like it. Besides, at least...
