Hi Nilo,
thank you for your challenging topic of this week´s wrist shot!
I look at it like Baron in his post: to feel love for inanimate things may be a problem or soon become one. In history, art und literature people who fall in love for material things like gold or other attractive possessions tend to forget about the living creatures and are doomed to perish.
But I know the English language nowadays is not extremly precise when it comes to the use of the word "love". McDonald´s even applies it to their burgers - "I´m loving it".
"I´m loving it" (my Big Mac) and "I´m loving her" (my wife) seems a bit strange, doesn´t it?
I would rather call it a special liking or interest and if only to guard me from overemphasizing material things. But you may find this too quibbling? Yes, I must admit, that´s just what I am!
Here are two watches which I particularly like, the background pictures showing famous cities of the past, many of which have disappeared completely - "Vanity of vanities".
