Now, the Wrist Scan winner is.....

Feb 15, 2015,07:53 AM

... here is Walt (WatchPilot)...

"Lots of fun sorting through this week's wonderful and worthy candidates for best Wrist Scans.  Before going any farther, I must cite two stunning shots for "an honorable mention dead heat."  The colors on their Reversos just match up beautifully with this week's theme.

By this I mean 4Js for his elegant Rogue Reverso...

And also Dr. No for his Deep Blue Reverso...

But this week's theme is mostly about expressing our affection for others through our timepieces, and three candidates just stand out with this in mind...

Third Place goes to our Baron for his Family Trio wrist shot, symbolizing the togetherness that our timepiece passions can create on this symbolic day...

Second Place (and it was very close) goes to Nilomis who went to great lengths to create magic memories for his Lady through her vintage JLC Memovox...

And First Place goes to Blomman for this priceless shot of two vintage divers--and a whole not more  smile)

Thank you for the opportunity to provide this week's Verdict on Wrist scans.  Hope all had a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend.

Respectfully,

Walt (WatchPilot)"

Thanks Walt, and congrats Blomman!  Sorry, Nilo, for missing the sweep win smile

Everyone, thanks for your participation.  Have a great week ahead!

Best,
Ken

Blomman for winning and Nilo for two firsts and a second.......that must be as close as it gets to a clean sweep!

That would be Joe's blue Reverso . . .

 By: Dr No : February 15th, 2015-12:36
. . . that I posted, not mine. The dead giveaway would be the sartorial style evident in the photo - I don't own a pair cuff links. :-)

Junior sends his best! :) It took 2 GP's to stop Nilo's wife from making a triple! ;) The E 861 is such a lovely, charming, funky watch! (Also the first Funky Memovox - a theme I love very much!) Congrats to Mrs. Nilo! :) Best Blomman

The only downside is that my chances to "recover" this JLC went down the drain. Yes, my wife saw the results and she said "I told you so". Yes, again, It's a beautiful watch. She more than deserves it. Cheers, Nilo

In Portuguese: "Sim querida", sounds even more humble. I believe that I need to start looking for 44+ watches. She believes that they are too masculine!!! Cheers, Nilo
