Here are my thoughts and decision on static photo. An excellent field of contenders as usual, making the process of picking a winner all the more arduous. Going down the list of my favourite shots has to begin with CC and his delectable GP Gyro to be followed by Damjan's brilliant presentation of his fiery Seiko. I can't help but admire Art's close up rendition of his favourite Karree and Abel's WT is a firm favourite ( I am slightly biased here).
Then we arrive at Blomman's fabulous Pan Am Rolex shot that captures the nostalgia of the time and lastly Nicolas's Polaris on top of Magali ....... drawing of course. These two for me were neck and neck for the top spot but as we have to pick a winner, my final decision rest with Nicolas and his Polaris for its dynamism and subtle pairing with an original drawing of the watch.
Congrats to everyone who submitted entries of such high standard and well done Nicolas!
Thank you Joe for the privilege!
Best Regards,
Fernando
P.S. Under no circumstances was I bribed, coerced or threatened by evil forces into arriving at my decision.

In fact, the third person in the cartoon next to Tintin and Captain Haddock (he is called "Klapp" in the German version) is a pilot, so I thought he might have been wearing such a Flieger watch :-). Best regards anaesdoc
The verdict from Dr. Strong..... My choice is CC's GP Gyromatic with arrow indexes The reason I picked this watch is because it has a stunning dial, with a great 1960's design. The movement is also very interesting, so this is overall a great collector's ...
