Thank you so much dear Captain! Though I don´t collect pocket watches, a few have been added to my wristwatch collection through the years. Those are pocket watches I couldn´t resist to...

... take home.
This is one of them. There is an identical one in Goldberger Omega book. In the big thick Omega reference book it is shown with an ad offering it at beginnings of XX for use by those pioneer "chaufeurs". It is a large and curious piece with a complicated dial sectorized in different colored scales to measure speeds as you can see.
And the back has a retrograde scale with a hand connected to the main trotteuse hand in the front to chrono the car speed in kilometers per hour.
I´m happy to know you like it. Probably you know the book by Korda. I found it so enjoyable reading. He speaks so nicely about collectors in general and pocket watch collectors and shows his passion. Regrettably is an old and sold out edition but sometimes it can be found in the net.
Have a nice and relaxed weekend my dear friend.
