As a 'balance wheel man', the Brogsitter/HWM watches were almost too much to take - this, of course, is years before Martin Braun's 'Slowrunner' blew the competition out of the water. They were also showing signs of impeccable finish: what a shame the market conditions weren't right. How often have we heard that?
The Leroy piece is indeed something about which to be optimistic. The issue, as ever, is the prickly question of price-point. It's a lot of CHF for a time-only piece of such a pedigree, chronometric capabilities notwithstanding. Now, if it were somewhere in the Dornblüth/Coyon/Speake-Marin spectrum, we'd be talking!
Cheers,
