Looks great Art, but it took 2 hours of driving, 160Km, a sprint across the road, a scramble across the rocks and a precarious balancing act, all before the sunset. But you did it!

Did you know that in the north part of Sweden - a few weeks in the summer the sun almost never sets! :) But, on the other hand in the winter it never raises... Always two sides on a coin..! Best Blomman

An honor and a pleasure to have three mods in the house. Andrew, great to break bread, rather drink beer with you, a splendid effort all the way from down under! Art, I was very happy to know we have your fav. ale available locally on tap. Bodes well for ...
Really great to visit your place. Great hospitality, even better watches and a lot of fun. Definitely worth braving the LA traffic. I have a few photos to post up when I get home. Thanks again. Andrew
.. as I had to stretch the motto a bit : Only can I hope, that it's still somewhat ok that way . - my shot for dawn, is still half-darkness, with a tiny little ray of early sunshine which gave some faint highlights to spots of reflection.. Dawn or Dusk..T...
I could post tens of pics, so I'll keep it to one per watch!...still a few...I hope not too many... A selection of lights...summer, winter, outdoor, city... Best... Matt ...

. . . wow, there's watches popping up out of the woodwork this week! Can't recall either Fernando's Omega or your vintage military . . . must be getting old!
...fastened. When they are loose, on the contrary... I believe in visibility. I cannot see what time it is whith the Jules at night. The Polaris, though, shines like the Polaris star... And the Jules, so discrete and elegant with the suit. So, no doubt ab...
well, not exactly an early riser to see dawn in the summer, so my humble interpretation of this week's theme, with my Richeville Day and Night indicator. HAGWE, CC ...
The sharp lines of the case and lugs caught my eye first in this shot, then the light illuminating the different levels and surfaces of hands, markers, dial, date. The crystal is invisible. I love it. Cazalea
Fingerprints and dust are common errors. Forgetting to set the date is most aggravating and frequent. I\'ve even put the watch on my wrist upside down before, but haven\'t ever forgotten to set the time. I\'m waiting to drop my watch on concrete, as Graha...
. . . that's the original strap on the GS. I failed to secure the pin when strapping it back on, so it took a back flip onto the hard table and fell on the carpeting. That's why it went by the wayside a week a later for a more pliable replacement. Art
Hi Art, as I am no "early bird" I went out on our terrace just now and took a picture of my freshly refurbished ("just back from the spa" as hs111 called it) Conny which largely benefitted from its journey back to Biel from where it once left in the 1960´...
. . . and none more than these arrowhead marker ref 2852s from the mid '50s thru early '60s. Thanks very much for sharing your latest addition, anaesdoc. Most cordially, Art
Thanks for your kind words! Of course I have noticed your Conny affection, as you post some pics from time to time of this gorgeous black one of yours. I looked up in the list and could pin the watch down to the year 1958. Quite a great condition for a 56...

My great friend who is a professional photographer, calls it the "magic light"... Sunrise in a vineyard, not much better place to be! Winter's sunset... HAGWE all, Cheers, Tim ...
