A watch I did not expect to have can only be a watch that is not a GP :) I had taken in a Rolex (!) in a trade. A Rolex! I never thought I would like Rolex and I'm still fairly convinced of that. Only thing, some of those vintage ones aren't that bad. So ...

Your Rolex is lovely, but somehow it is a very "non-Rolex" type of a Rolex watch, isn´t it? If it hadn´t the crown at the 12 o´clock position and the Rolex inscription it might not be identified as a Rolex. If I fall for Rolex watches, they usually are th...

Collecting! Often I find a buckle, box, sign or an ad of a brand that I find really cool - long before I find a watch of the same brad! And once I started, I need to find the watch.... Oris is a typical example: I started to collect goodies from Oris many...

I was in the boutique in Beverly Hills the day they received their first one, and I was tempted by it, too. It has a lot going for it as a Panerai, and generally. There are so many cookie-cutter Luminors and Radionirs now (IMHO) that the Panerais I now fi... 

... this Chopard L.U.C 1937 Classic. I already owned one in a slightly different configuration. This one was the first version and was released in 2011 in a limited number of 1,937. I found it only a few months ago, though, and I snapped it up! :-) I love...

[cazalea's Credor Spring Drive, August '08] . . . with characteristic taper are practically a signature for Credor. Lovely watch with an unusually vivid presence; I remember seeing cazalea's for the first time and marveling over those spectacular hands. T...

I cannot understand our like/dislike watch logic. Watches that we see, even "in metal", and say no way, later we review our original position and love it. The opposite also happens. A much desired Grail, later is flipped without a blink. Go figure! Cheers...

that almost never happened ........ Was dissuaded against this "too small for a Panerai" , "tool watch should NEVER come in gold" Tried it , could not get it out of my thoughts , so I brought it home .... Now a prized piece in my collection .... A loved p...
