Watch of the Week honors have been bestowed . . .
Sep 08, 2014,11:48 AM
. . . upon Nilo.
"Dear Art,
If it is ok, I would like to vote Nilomis' Longines Lindbergh . . .
. . . the watch of the week. This is an absolutely great timepiece, very distinguished and unique.
Second would be the JLC Master Perpetual . . .
. . . shown by Baron. When I started to read about perpetual calendars an eternity ago, I always believed they had to be ultra-complicated looking, like IWC's DaVinci.
The Master Perpetual was the first I saw that was simple and legible. I still consider it one of the nicest perpetuals ever built.
The third place is occupied by the unique Le Coultre Galaxy . . . .
. . . submitted by blomman, because of its fascinating, unique looks.
Kind regards,
Marcus"
Thank you, Marcus. Now that I think about it, I've met three of the women mentioned in this thread, and embarrassed to admit being unable to remember any of the watches listed. Perhaps they weren't wearing them at the time.
Hope to see you all this coming Friday, when Baron will be your host.
Cordially,
Art
