WS for Friday 24th is OPEN now! “Share your favorite Go-to Watches”!!
Sep 24, 2021,12:53 PM
Hello friends!
As previously announced I will have the pleasure to be your host this weekend and the Theme will request our participants to share their favorite go-to watches.
Whichever the size of our collections I feel we all have one (or several) favorite timepieces always ready to strap on our wrists for certain circumstances. We don’t need to think so much which one to wear. They look like they will jump on our wrists by themselves.
They are practical, usually low profile. We love them so much.
In my personal case my Go-to watches need to be low profile, not very costly but reliable, tough and waterproof so some of them are diver’s watches.
And as safety in some areas of my city is a problem sometimes a very simple inconspicuous watch is mandatory.
Look forward to an enjoyable an full of awesome entries event!
You may post your entries now in this same thread!
Have a wonderful weekend my dear friends!
Abel
A Speedmaster is a practical Go to watch always. In this case a so called “replica” or “reissue” model.
This couple of simple and inconspicuous Victorinox watches are often worn when visiting some areas in my city.
My Seiko Turtle is always a faithful Go to watch
Any Submariner no date makes for a wonderful Go to watch
My Longines Heritage 1942 chrono from 2012 is an often worn Go to timepiece.
