.. and Wrist Scan winner is.....

Here is the verdict from ztirual..
"Hi Ken,
Well my friend, you might be slightly surprised by my verdict:
I must say that finding a winner, let alone a selection, turned out to be MUCH harder than I had envisaged.
Should I indeed choose the best picture or my preferred watch as pictured. Finally I decided for the latter. I also decided only to contemplate single entries, as opposed to multiple submissions. This meant that I had to discard otherwise excellent pictures such as MattS' and Subexplorer's to name but two.
So here is my short list...
- Respo's sparkling VC Oversea. I loved the canine touch but alas a slightly too distant shot.
- Your very own 1st generation AP Royal Oak. A watch that is close to the top of my 'wanted list'… I also particularly liked the nice feminine silhouette sitting atop the watch. I like the rest of the background less. Still a very spontaneous shot.
- Tim Jackson's nice Peter Speake Marin.
- Matthewking's very cool and controlled composition of his AP Royal Oak.
And the winner is… KIH's very own picture for the above-mentioned reasons, a simple cool and spontaneous picture of a fantastic watch, with Matthewking's wrist scan a close second.
A result that will probably surprise many, including myself.
Best regards
Z'"
Wow, thank you! The lady-like silhouette, I have no recollection. Just a chance. I was at an AD then and it must be another customer, I guess.....
Anyway, thank you for doing the hard job and congrats, um, thank you for the award!
And thank you for participating, everyone.
Have a great week!
Best,
Ken
