Watch of the Week goes to.....
Dec 08, 2014,13:38 PM
"Dear Ken:
The Polaris is such a versatile watch, and with so many photos of the watch in so many different settings, MattS' watch is a winner because it is a watch you can wear often and enjoy often in a variety of settings and also with different straps and bracelets. And since the whole point is about which watch you enjoyed the most in 2014, I can see this watch was heavily and often enjoyed! Carry on enjoying!
With so much thought and consideration into what would be his main favorite for 2014, HS111's choice gets a nod from me as well. The simple, sporty, and vintage-ness of this Breguet chronograph is something that everyone could really enjoy wearing for 2014 and the years to come! Great piece and thanks for sharing HS111!
... and the Winner is....
Moc's DeBethune is strange, futuristic, yet beautiful companion for the wrist that is almost magical in how it works. Its definitely something that has been enjoyed thoroughly the past year and I'm sure Moc relished explaining to NWF (non watch folks) and muggles (non magical people) how his DeBethune works and that it's not a secret alien space weapon. Imagine the explanation I would give to airport security if they saw a watch like that.
Many thanks to all the participants of this week's thread! It was a hard choice to choose among all of these fine watches. And special thanks to KiH for organizing this week's WristScan!
Best,
Patrick "
Thanks Patrick and congrats, Mo, for double win!
