Interesting and simple theme you thought for this week end dear Blomman!...

... But a very tough one to answer as an important part of the charm of watch collecting and owning is the enjoyment and happiness they give us! I find happiness fondling and wearing all my timepieces though certainly some are more loved than others.
I will try to answer with three examples in my collection:
My Breguet Type XX Aeronavale is a watch I wished to own for some time and reminds me of my beloved city of Paris, of good friends and good times spent in every visit. It was bought at the Paris Boutique during one of those visits some years ago.
Second watch is a vintage Le Coultre chrono which you have seen in the flesh during our nice meeting in Paris. Its colorfuly unusual dial makes me smile every time I wear it.
The third watch is one I have been coveting for years and one I had serious doubts I wouls ever be able to buy. It is a white gold case PP 5110 HU. A fortunate help from Cosmos led to my buying during the first weeks of this year. It is a pre owned timepiece in beautiful condition which became the crown jewel of my collection and makes me so happy just looking it.
Have a great week end Blomman and all our friends here at PuristS!
Abel.
