Man, that's a TOUGH call!...

Not everyone is blessed with such 'fun' watches as those, blomman; indeed, not all of us have a cheery outlook on life:

Still, in some cases it's a question of the mood that is evoked rather than the watch itself, and if we are to be thinking 'happy' watches, then each of the following watches evoke happy sentiments. This one, because it is only worn when time is really of no consequence, so it is usually associated with holidays, weekends and the like. More than that, it was originally commissioned by a good watch-chum (and gentleman Purist) and the only other owner of this piece before it found a home in the watchbox is also a great mate and great collector, who (hopefully) will one day stop lurking and start posting. He also has large wrists, and it's hard to describe the rare joy of putting on a quality strap with lots of leather going through the buckle!
The wrist-time for this next one is even rarer than 'holiday' events: it comes out to wave its patriotic hands on Bastille Day, Independence Day, Australia Day, occasionally Easter and sometimes Christmas. How can the mesmerising dial not evoke a smile - especially when the light catches the 'sunburst' guilloché under the enamel:
And this one? Who knows why this one engenders such satisfaction, calm and pleasure? It just does...
The watch equivalents of Prozac, Zoloft and Effexor:
Thanks for the fun theme, blomman, (pun intended) and apologies for the iPhone shots.
Cheers,
