Wrist Scan honors, finale . . .
Nov 09, 2014,17:48 PM
1a) Now here - last but not least - comes the final one, for 1st rank:
For me without doubt, it's the entry of RichardN's PSM,
with a heart-warming story of the ( non-watch wearing !) friends, who listen
to his occasional mentioning of this brand and watch-type;
they then sync and get that wonderful PSM - piece for their dear friend's 40th birthday.
This mainly because it is carrying their common life- motto on the caseback:
-- Fight, Love & Persevere !!
This WS picture is one of this week's nicest : shallow angle, clear focus, great object:
a blue ( or black ?) dial, with those lovely hands & Roman main indices, plus a great case,
with a subtle de-focused background make a real formidable entry of a lovely watch.
(I didn't even count the splendid pic of the caseback, in addition !)
Then I would herewith nominate RichardN's pic of his Peter Speake Marin's watch
for this week's Kudos in the WS category.
All this as just my little 2 cents..
Again, please don't forget : I'm neither a collector, nor an expert in watches, just the wife of one
of your fellow PuristS collegues, hs.. ;
yes, I do wear & enjoy several time-pieces, liking them also as little objects of art, and obviously of desire. My husband being not different, to what I've started to observe and read here.
Kind regards,
rws
