"Hello Art !
First of all, I just want to say, that for me as a total newbie here in the Forum, and WristScan
section, it was not easy for me, so many great entries - in fact , I have to confess, that many of the Static pictures and WS's, are all really great and also difficult to discern or rank !
Thus, only thing, that I can say is: I tried my best.
Here the ranking:
3/ Nico with his shallow WS of the Vintage Polaris 65, above the roofs of Paris.
I liked the sujet, the surroundings, well - and also the watch, which seems to be a black knight,
an icon for JLC, and for the owner. ( Actually, meanwhile, I've read & learned a bit about
the Polaris - fascinating, I confess..)
The story behind this very piece (of Nico) is wonderful, illustrating the degree of a great friendship, almost too much of the good.
My husband, hs, had explained to me some of the Outs and Ins for that watch:
I just simply like it, a piece for all seasons and many occasions..
a great watch with lots of character, as I saw from the other splendid pics of his series here.
Also liked the composition, with grey-white sweater, black watch, and some clouds, making
an interesting sky, like in a stage-play, with Tour d'Eiffel in the distance..
That photo gets my vote as a third place.
