Hi all,
I was thinking long and hard about this week’s WS theme. What feature stands out to make a watch most valuable?
Price? That’s too easy and not exactly a fair representation of value.
Emotional attachment? How to choose, it would be a random pick and I’m attached emotionally to all watches in my collection
A story about finding that one piece? That’s an option, but does that represent value or a unique feature? Why would could a watch I acquired without efforts not be my most valuable?
Eventually, I found one watch in my collection that has a unique feature. Does that make it my most valuable? I don’t know, but it has completed a journey that shows that I value it very much.
Damn, Nilo had the same idea. It’s my boomerang watch.
Well, I have sold this watch some months ago and now bought it/traded it back from the buyer so it came back like a boomerang.
My GP Sea Hawk “To John Harrison” with white dial.
HAGWE all,
