This has been an intense (horological speaking) year for me...

... with several most important -for my collection- catches.
Most important 2014 it also meant rediscovering an old love: Panerai, a brand I had rather abandoned lately with which I renewed the passion this year.
I also have been thinking that 2015 will be a year to downsize the collection both for the practical and financial points of view. Looking back to my purchases of this year I realize that my greedines must be controled during 2015!
The highlights of this personal 2014 trip is shown below.
This one arrived in January, a long desired watch as this is a "Ci" marked on its back, denoting being issued to Argentine Navy personel in the 1980´s.
This watch gave me an additional nice surprise and satisfaction when discovering a very close "relative" (just a few numbers of difference) in the hands of a nice friend collector in Paris!
This is a watch I had never paid attention before, but which I have to blame my dear friend Nicolas to open my eyes to it. A lovely, elegant timepiece for sure: the Yatch-Master I.
No need of further presentation to PuristS friends. I put an order for this one at the Milano Boutique last March, as soon as I learned about its launching.
The watch arrived to the Boutique last October, and it waited till I could arrange a fast trip to take delivery of it in November...
Last but not least:
After looking for it in Milano, Venice and Paris with no positive results, a lucky call from the Paris boutique just one hour before my depature from my Hotel in Paris to reach my returning plane, allowed me to take my treasure home just in time!
And with just a few minutes to take a last good by picture to my beloved City, Paris where I always find good friends and lot of joy when visiting.
I wish a beautiful and Merry Christmas and a wonderful New year 2015 to all my friends here at PuristS, be it with much Peace and lots of Good Health!
And lots of horological enjoyment to all!
Sincerely, Abel.
