since I just took this photo for another post in the Seiko forum . Seiko's "fastest hand in the world" was on sale 22 years ago - half-way in time between now and the Apollo mission ... then for something completely different, Cazalea ...  

But this is what I call a perfect time Nov 11 2011 11:11:11 It was shot at that moment, not faked. Therefore, I had only one chance! A perfect chronograph for me! Best, Joe ...

if i remember correctly Nico, we did a speedy roll call about 4 years ago and got over 100 entrants. i know that wasnt all of the speedys owned by the forum at the time. we now have far more members so could we get to 200 in another roll call? i have 4 wh...

Prior to space, huge efforts were made by manufactures to offer reliable wrist tool-watches for pilots. If Longines is the most obvious of all, there are some others, Gallet is one of them They produced in the early 40s this waterproof chronograph called ...

This is maybe going to be my favorite chrono ever, when I learn a bit more about the movement, about how they managed to combinate all the hands and saving friction energy. By the way, I saw your little interview on W.Anish with nice pictures it seems you...

This has the same movement as the moon watch. Lemania supplied Omega with movement and also to other watch brands.

Two Breitling chronographs the span the vintage era. Probably the first one button chronograph produced, this one dating from somewhere at the start of the Twenties and then a Breitling from the early Seventies, with the advent of Quartz heralding the dem...  

They both still do their job. Interesting to see how much has changed and also how many details remain the same. HAGWE.

The sz is not suitable to the looks. Its a classic watch but with a sports watch size. Plus its flat which makes the watch feel even larger on my wrist. The dial is one of the most beautiful thou. Sad Iceman

This complication has held a fascination since I was a small kid and watch teachers time races with mechanical stop watches. My first chronograph watch was an IWC Fleigerchrono mecaquartz in the early nineties, quickly followed up by a Brietling chronomat...

Chronograph, long power reserve, rotating bezel, great anti-reflective coating, bracelet and safety from leakage when a button is accidentally pushed while submerged. I cannot ask for more from this ultimate travel watch of mine. It has been going places ...
