There are some seriously drool-worthy timepieces for the wrist but this thread suffers from a lack of pocket watches! Here is an observatory chronometer from the 1909 Geneva trials, where it scored Honorable Mention:
This one competed at the Observatoire de Geneve in 1927 (Third Prize) but wasn't cased until 1943 when sold to the Kriegsmarine:
And here is the grandfather to those lovely Chronometre Royal wrist watches previously posted. The watch served in the Royal Navy during WWII as a chronometer-rated HS2 navigation watch:
